Seminoma of Testis and Dysgerminoma of Ovary
Most cancers of the testicles develop in cells called, germ cells, which make sperm. The main two types of germ cell tumors in men are seminomas, and non-seminomas. Both tumor cells occur equally, and often simultaneously. Similarly, ovarian dysgerminoma are tumors in the ovary that are composed primarily of germ cells. This most commonly occurs in adolescents with common symptoms including abdominal pain.
